BaliSource is pleased to be able to present to the general public privately held collections of various aspects of the rich and fascinating cultures of Bali and Java. Such collections usually remain unknown until purchased by a museum for exhibition. By presenting these collections online, we hope to not only make them available to the general collector, but also to respond to the interest and curiousity these traditions inspire, and to contribute to the body of online knowledge in regards to these extraordinary arts. The staff of BaliSource have been involved with the traditional arts of Bali and Indonesia since 1984.
